    I wonder why some medical "professionals" resort to name calling when there exists.a.therapy that seems to help many people, chelation therapy has.been approved.by the u.s..fda for lead toxicity, so if there is an off label use why do some call.it quackery?? That kind of name calling behaviour by so.called "professionals" made me suspicious as to.the name caller's motives......

    I looked at the back of a Pedialyte bottle to see what I needed to make it myself. 1) roughly 1 TSP potassium chloride (a.k.a. "NoSalt" or other salt substitute 2) about 1.5 tsp non-iodized salt 3) 16 oz filtered water 4) single-bottle packet of sugar-free drink mix, like Crystal Light 5) 1 adult dose tablet of Zinc, or in powder form....You can also add a calcium+magnesium powder to it.

    I Totally Agree With the Previous Comment - It is really sad that this kind of misinformation is given to millions of people on a top rated TV show. Adding a little bit of table salt is doing nothing for balancing your electrolytes. But I Want To Add WHITE SUGAR IS POISON IN THE HUMAN BODY - WHY WOULD YOU GIVE YOUR INFANT WHITE SUGAR !!!!!!!!!

    Almost 20 yrs later & im still fascinated by this story. This is an excellent presentation. Now they have helicopters making deliveries to camp 2. Pretty soon they will be offering helicopter rides to the summit.

    Makalu ( not his real name , he named himself that after the mountain called makalu ) wasn’t supposed to summit that day. He was extremely lucky the other teams took care of him. One in his group slipped at camp 3 & died & he refused to come down. He let the other climbers from other teams take his teammate’s dead body down.

    Orange juice is high in sugar and added maple syrup low sugar drink? Who are they trying to to fool? Such lies! this is why people get sick and now they don’t care about babies health either!

  • @sharonking2124

    Water ,Sugar and salt! Even for babies? 😢Wow! Such gaslighting of the system should be illegal! Someone from the medical industry should be more responsible! Also the channel that is showing this! Babies under six months should not have water! Water has no nutrients! Their hydration and nutrition should come from breast milk or formula! Babies under two should not consume sugar because it kills the good bacteriain in their gut! This weakens the babies already fragile immune system! Babies should not consume salt’ It is not good for their developing kidneys! As it is not yet able to process The salt can also cause high blood pressure in infancy! Please ❤ do your own research!

    Low sugar? Lets add syrup and orange juice! ahahhahahhaha Remake it with no orange juice and syrup! Recipe 2 don 't add sugar but rather 6teaspoon of lemon juice and up the salt a touch! If you want to add potassium add some cream of tartar!

  • @gyges2375
    @gyges2375 Рік тому

    This is what gives WHO a bad rep. They only recommend this solution in cases of severe dehydration due to illness where appropriate medical care isn"t available. The sugar is supposedly used for faster absorption and not flavor. Look up Doctors Without Borders for the discussion. BTW, this manual was written decades ago and I'm sure they have a better solution by now!

    I'm a physician and the heart hospital putting this CRAP out is sinful. I'm ashamed to be apart of the medical community. Cardiology has done absolutely nothing to reduce disease. They had made a ton of money with with angioplasty and stenting but there advice OF EAT LESS EXCERSIZE MORE AND TAKE THIS STATIN AND LOWER SATURATED FAT HAS DONE NOTHING TO REDUCE DISEASE.

    So ridiculous that you replace a sugary drink of Gatorade with a mixture of sugar loaded orange juice and maple syrup and say its better. It's also sad to give anyone including an infant 6 spoons of sugar and think that's ok. Sugar is the most addictive substance on earth IMO. Stay away from it.

    No SUGAR must be added like this, Sugar blocks the body cells from getting hydrated: This "concoction" has poor hydrating qualities due to so much sugar : A. Commercial Orange juice - High Fructose Corn Syrup B. Molasses - contains UNWANTED SUGAR C. Table salt is just a chemical buffer to control osmotic pressure -but no beneficial minerals -- Sea Salt contains a lot of minerals including sodium - Zinc / Potassium optional items when you cannot get them, very good to have.
